The Middle School Golf Team will be traveling to Enosburgh today. Please meet as a team near the blue building in the Junior parking lot at 11:00 for team pictures. 8th Grade Softball & Baseball teams play at home today. Game times are at 4:45. Girls play in the Pit, Boys play on the Middle School Baseball Field. The Library will be closed on Friday from 9:40 - 1:06. Calling all basketball players from grades 2-12. There is a great opportunity to improve skills, practice those skills in scrimmages and enjoy the game while working hard. The dates for the basketball camp are June 24th-28th. More information is provided on the fliers/registration forms, that are available at the front desk or with Coach Coppenrath in room D6. ATTENTION CURRENT 8-11 GRADE - Students for Social Justice Info Meeting - Join like minded students after school on Tuesday JUNE 11th in J18 from 2:45-3:30 to brainstorm ideas for student led activism designed to foster a healthy community through projects that focus on serving, celebrating, and understanding one another. Social justice is about distributing resources fairly and treating all people equitably so that they feel safe and secure—physically and psychologically. Contact Mrs Bowen if you have any questions or are not able to attend... Snacks will be provided. Attention 8th grade students - (If you already have not done so) We are collecting one baby photo (under age 5 if possible) of each 8th grade student to decorate the entryway to the gymnasium. Please bring your photo to Mrs. Kilbury in the Middle School Office, at your earliest convenience. We are excited to announce this year's Project Graduation event will be held at the Sheldon Casino Pavilion immediately following the commencement ceremony on June 14th. Planned events will include a Hypnotist, DJ with Laser Light Show, Black light Volleyball, Bon Fire, Corn Hole, Can Jam and other games! There will be great food and drinks! Every student will leave with a Swag Bag and there will be chances to win very cool prizes throughout the event! This is a free event for our graduates!! Please complete the permission form emailed to you and return it to Mr. Fortin, by no later than May 31, 2019. You may bring a guest with pre-approval by Mr. Hartman. If you missed out on the Krispy Kreme Donuts in April, or have a craving for more, Education First Travel Group is selling them this month for $10/dozen. Please contact Mrs. Machia (A-37) or a student if you are interested in supporting their efforts; an order form will also be in the teachers' lounge. Deadline is June 7; delivery June 12.
