Summer Opportunity here at MVU 7/29 - 8/2: Rosie’s Girls – is a summer camp program in its 20th year that gives middle school girls hands-on opportunities in a variety of STEAM fields, including welding, carpentry, computer programming, and forestry. One of the most important parts of the program is our Junior Staff, made up of 1 Junior Instructor/week who supports our adult staff in delivering camp activities and other camp logistics. It is an opportunity to grow as a leader and experience camp from a new angle. We are looking for a young woman or gender non-conforming student entering grades 10-12 who might be interested in this opportunity. You don’t need to have any experience with STEAM but it will certainly be an enhanced experience if you are interested in related fields! There is a $100 stipend for the week. This is an experience worthy of any resumes or applications. See Mrs. Hartman or Mr. Barwin for details.
